Over 200 of rescued cats are waiting for loving families

Let's establish in Jordan a culture of adopting pets from the street or from the shelters instead of breeding and buying them. We can offer for adoption over 200 cats rescued from the streets of Jordan by GoG team or our parners. We provided them with the needed veterinary care, mocrochipped, vaccinated and neutered them, took care of their documents and made sure that they can go to their new families. A decent number of our cats received the documents needed for international travelling including EU destination.

Platonida (#001)
Platonida (aka Platosha, Platoshka, Toshka, Platoushka, Toushka, Platoundel, Plaksosha) was rescued as a small kitten of approximately 1,5 month. She was shy and it took a couple of weeks to gain her trust and touch her. By the moment we could trap her she already was sick with pneumonia which affected her health forever. Due to severe form of the disease Platosha's lungs got some damage. Good care and medication helped us to restore her health almost completely, however the changes that happend in her body made Platosha stricltly indoor cat who should be treated with care and periodically observed at the vet clinic. Regardless her special condition Platoshka can live normally her long and happy life if proper living conditions are provided. She is very playful and super affectionate. And due to her health issue has funny low voice which makes her even more cute. Platosha is good with other cats, and very friendly with people. She loves to be petted and to spend time around humans.

Plyamka (#002)
Plyamka was abandoned by her mother together with her siblings at the age of a month only. All the kittens were timid and shy except Plyamka. She quickly realized that humans came to help her and granted us her trust. She has been growing up as a playful and friendly cat, always happy to cuddle and play. But at the age of 4 problems with her teeth and pain made her calmer and shyer. Plyamka had to undergo a few surgeries until all her side teeth were removed. Although she was left with fangs only, she experiences seizures of pain and inflammation. It makes her dependent on life-time medication. However, with her medicine Plyamka stays very cuddly and sweet cat that loves to chill next to humans and get petted.

Tartar (#003)
Tartar was brought to us by his feline friend Krivetka. Tartar was a timid shy "teenage" kitten starving in the street. His fear of people kept him away from possible sources of food. He was too scared to approach the feeders and water dispensers installed in the people's garden. But his friend Krivetka took guardianship over him. He came each time Tartar was crying in the empty land in front of the garden with food and guided him to the feeders. Krivetka stood by Tartar's side until he finished the meal and only after that left in his own business. Gradually Tartar realized that not all humans were dangerous and stayed in the garden. In a few months he developed full trust in us and became a house cat. He is still a bit nervous if picked up but genuinely loves to cuddle.

Ragnar (#005)

Ragnar and his siblings were born in one of the semi abandoned gardens. Like many stray cats they didn't trust people and preferred to keep the distance. But street life is harsh, and Ragnar lost most of his siblings until at some point he was left with his sister Astrid. In the Wintertime they both got cold and needed urgent treatment, after which they never returned to the street but instead were introduced to the indoor life. Soon it became clear that Ragnar was the sweetest cat ever with so much love and affection he wouldn't leave a human's side for a moment.
